1.0x

Self-explorative experiences made with art, nature, and community, to immerse you in reality and help you be more in the now. Those that make you steal glances at yourself in the windowpanes once again. Or, pause in the middle of the street just to smile at a stranger. Those that make you want to walk instead of running. Walk at your 1.0x—not the world's.

What does one do at 1.0x?

A lot and nothing at all.

You come back to reality by being who you are: a tiny part of nature.

Live a simple life in the mountain mudhouses. Walk barefoot in the forests. Take a dip in the Himalayan rivers. Play with the dogs. Allow the magic of sunlight to reach your soul. Hug giant trees. Eat flowers and fresh snow. Savour the produce of the earth. Dance in the rain. Camp by the beach. Stare at the sky. Count shooting stars. Sit down to watch the moon rise. Run in the wild. Tune our breath in line with the winds. Listen to the silence. Experience crazyyy travel stories you'd want to live over and over.

You become a small and important part of the bigger community.

Hold hands. Hug strangers—real hugs, the long and tight ones. Make connections. Look into the eyes of other souls. Cry out loud. Laugh out loud. Share meals. Stay up the night to listen to stories from worlds and cultures far from yours. Experience kindness that fully opens you up. Say 'I love you' many many times and mean every single one. Feel belonged. Love yourself by loving others.

You use art and mindfulness to express whoever you are.

Immerse in nature-based expressive arts workshops to straighten your thoughts and feelings. Reflect on your past. Practice breathwork and bodywork to make your way around the hurdles. Play the drums. Learn to slackline in the jungles. Make your first embroidery or shape your first ceramic with clay. Sing your lungs out. Crack open your heart with expression then piece it back together with cultural music, poetry, and stories. You do not need to be an artist or have experience in any of these. Trained facilitators hold your hand and guide you at every step.

Why are we?

The purpose of 1.0x is to get us all out of numbness, sober us up with the most simple things in life, ground our souls, take us to the real us, bring us closer to the home within, and give us a community that sees right through us and lets us see them.

It helps us hold on and enables us to let go, gives us stories of hope, and makes us make something meaningful version of this thing called life.

Who are we for?

To simply put it—all of us. To elaborate, we're here for folks who:

- want to love living, despite life
- crave to travel within and explore themselves
- are open to new experiences that require unlearning a lot of life lived
- are looking to meet humans who get it
- suck at adulting and need to laugh this out with other grown-ups
- believe there is no blueprint for life and that each path is fucked up
- still imagine living in a world where everyone smiles at everyone
- want to show up and be there for themselves
- intend to go really simple with their everyday
- seek to go home, finally
